PRIVACY INFORMATION
Business enquiries and Systems Reviews
White Direction uses the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, understand the workflow or system you want reviewed, and prepare an appropriate next step or quotation if you ask us to.
Information we collect
Depending on the form or conversation, this may include your name, business name, business email, phone number, website, the type of system or AI role you are interested in, the operational problem you describe, and campaign-attribution parameters such as UTM source, medium, campaign and content.
Why we use it
We use the information to respond to the request you made, manage the enquiry and follow-up, prepare a scope or proposal where appropriate, maintain an audit trail of the conversation, protect the service from misuse, and understand which White Direction campaigns create genuine business enquiries. A Systems Review form is not a purchase.
Lawful basis
Where you ask us to review a possible project, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract. We may also rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, maintaining proportionate business records, preventing misuse and measuring the effectiveness of our own business-to-business marketing. Where we specifically ask for consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Who processes the information
White Direction uses service providers for website hosting and forms, business email, and CRM/workflow administration. The current enquiry route uses Netlify for website/form hosting, Google Workspace for business email and Airtable/SeanOS for operational records. We do not sell enquiry data to advertisers.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires a transfer safeguard, the relevant provider arrangements and lawful transfer mechanism must apply.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to deal with the request, manage proportionate follow-up and maintain appropriate business records. If an enquiry becomes a customer project, relevant information may be retained for the project and any legal, accounting or dispute-handling period that applies. Suppression records may be retained where necessary to respect a request not to be contacted again.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to processing, and receive information about how it is used. You can object to direct marketing at any time. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact admin@thewhitedirection.com.
If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Advertising and cookies
The initial White Direction advertising test is designed to use tagged campaign URLs and form attribution rather than requiring non-essential advertising cookies on this page. If non-essential analytics, pixels or advertising cookies are introduced later, the privacy/cookie information and consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
